This study analyzed the effects of plyometric and strength training on vertical jump (VJ), rating perceived exertion (RPE), delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS), absolute (APP) relative (RPP) peak power in young male football players. Twenty-five participants were randomly divided into semi-squat group (SSTG), (PTG), control (CG). The duration intervention was six weeks. VJ with a computerized jumping platform. PTG SJ. In intragroup comparations, SSTG, PTG, CG an increase DOMS. Between groups, presented compared CG. CMJ strong correlations between VJ, RPP, RPP. SJ higher positive correlation all physical variables. Only promoted both types jumps, greater lower
